About Fusion Dance Company

Fusion Dance Company was founded in 2011 on over two decades of dance experience and fundamental knowledge. The concept of Fusion came from the need to challenge the creative minds of today's youth while intertwining the foundations of the art of dance.

Fusion Dance Company is family-owned company in the heart of historical downtown Cartersville, GA. Other companies may offer dance, but Fusion offers the future of dance!

Here at Fusion Dance Company we believe that dance has no boundaries, our purpose is to fuse together different genres of dance to create the new generation of dance. We do strongly believe ballet is the core to any strong dancer but, bringing a style a dancer loves and combining it with ballet can only ignite and challenge the dancer at heart. Here at Fusion Dance Company our goal is for our dancers to Live it. Dance it. and Perform it. One promise Fusion Dance Co can make to you is that we will never stop striving to grow and giving back to our community. We hope Fusion Dance Co is a place you can develop your love for dance at.

We feel that here at Fusion Dance Company we are not just a staff of dancers coming to teach the dancers of the community but, more so a family bringing the dancers of the community closer together. Our Goal is that any and every dancer can walk into the studio at Fusion Dance Company and call it home, we represent many backgrounds throughout our teaching staff in order to connect and relate to each dancers background and learning style.

Kasey Ashworth has developed her passion for dance over the past 17 years, 4 of which she has been teaching. She began following her heart at the age of three when she started dancing at DanceScape studios in Acworth, Georgia. Seven years into dancing, Kasey furthered her dancing education at Great Gig Dance Co in Kennesaw, Ga. She has studied with international known choreographers such as Mia Michaels and Laurie Ann Gibson. As a member of the company at DanceScape and the ensemble at Great Gig Kasey performed on a total of three cruise ships and competed all across the nation. As a choreographer and instructor for the past four years, she continues to grow and develop as a dancer and choreographer, Kasey believes there is always room to grow no matter how long or how experience you may be. Her experience choreographing and instructing have consisted of TLC Dance Co in Marietta, Ga, Day Star Dance Studio in Kennesaw, Ga and Spirit of Dance also located in Kennesaw, Ga. Teaching all genres of dance and ages has lead Kasey to where she is now. She holds a special place in her heart for teaching genres such as contemporary Jazz, Hip-Hop, Character, and lyrical. Currently, she is enrolled at Kennesaw State University, mid way through her Junior year where she is earning a degree in Political Science and Minoring in the art form of Dance.
