Kasey Brown ( Director/Owner)
Kasey discovered her passion for dance at age 3. She began her dance education at DanceScape Dance Studios in Acworth. She joined the Ensemble at age 7 and continued dancing at Great Gig Dance Company in Kennesaw. She attended weekly classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Pointe. Kasey competed all over the nation as well as performed on cruise ships. She expanded her dance education by taking master classes at workshops from national and international recognized choreographers. Kasey began teaching at age 18 at Teaching Little Children. She also taught at Daystar Dance Company and The Spirit of Dance. At Age 20, Kasey opened Fusion Dance Company in Downtown Cartersville. Four months after the doors opened at Fusion, the Infused Performance Group was created. This is the competitive group at FDC. At age 22, Kasey graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Political Science. Fusion Dance Company can be seen at local performances in Cartersville and the surrounding counties. Her choreography has been recognized at the regional and national level. Kasey pours her heart and soul into Fusion Dance Company and is excited for everything that the future may hold for Fusion Dance Company. She hope the future includes you and your family.
Nifti Williams ( Teacher)
Shelby is a dance instructor at Fusion Dance Company. This is her fifth season training dancers at Fusion Dance Company in lyrical, ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theater. Her dance training began at the young age of 3. In high school, Shelby was apart of CATS at Woodland High School, a performing arts group, and also apart of the dance program where she had the opportunity to choreograph her first lyrical piece. From there she received more training at Kennesaw State University in modern, ballet, and jazz. Shelby loves sharing her passion and technique and seeing her students everyday!
Rachael Emefo has been trained in dance for over 18 years studying ballet, jazz, pointe, hip hop, and modern dance at Norma's Academy of Dance and at Kennesaw State University(KSU) where she minored in dance. During her time at KSU, she was head coordinator/choreographer of the AfriSA dance team, a dance group founded to merge traditional and modern African dance together. She currently teaches ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, and lyrical to girls and boys from ages 3-16. She has a passion for children and cares deeply about their progress in their dance training. She believes it is important to encourage their dreams and help them reach their goals. She is so excited to be apart of the Fusion Family this year and is ready to see what else God has in store for the studio.
